Privacy Policy

What this studio collects, why, who helps process it, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

Franzé Studio is the brand and landing page design studio of Mateus Franzé, based in São Paulo, Brazil. For anything about your data, write to mateusfranze@franzestudio.com.

Visits to this site

We count visits without setting cookies of our own and without storing your IP address. For each visit we record the page, the site or campaign that sent you (the referrer and campaign tags such as utm_source), your browser language and time zone, your country as reported by our hosting network, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and a random visitor number kept in your browser so that repeat visits count once and we can see which pages were viewed, in what order. On its own, that number does not tell us who you are. The first source of your visit is kept in your browser for 90 days, so we know which channel brought you.

Some pages also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site, such as clicks, scrolling and session replays. Clarity sets cookies and processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you arrived through a personal link we sent you, the name in that link is attached to those sessions. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.

Quote requests

When you ask for a quote, we collect what you type in the form (your name, email, company and message) and the source of your visit, so we can reply and prepare the quote. The random visitor number from your browser goes with the form, so the pages you viewed on this site from that browser are linked to your request. Parts of the quote builder and the help chat in the client portal use an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic): what you type there is sent to Anthropic to produce the answer.

The blog by email

If you sign up for the blog by email, we keep your email address, the page where you signed up, your country as reported by our hosting network and the random visitor number from your browser, so we know which articles brought you. You only get articles after you confirm through the link we send, and every email has a link to unsubscribe in one click. Replies go to mateusfranze@franzestudio.com. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending and keep only the record that you left, so you are not added back by mistake.

Clients

If you hire the studio, we keep what the project needs: contact details, briefing answers, files you upload, approvals, messages and payment records. Payments are made by bank transfer through Wise or by card through Stripe. Card numbers are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.

Emails

Project emails are delivered through Resend. If we wrote to you about your website, we found your business email on your public website. We send one message and at most three short follow-ups. The link to this site in those emails is personal: it carries a tag with the name of the business we wrote to, so when it is opened, that visit and the pages viewed afterwards from the same browser are linked to that email. If you prefer not to be identified, type franzestudio.com in your browser instead of using the link. Replies are read automatically, so follow-ups stop as soon as you answer. Reply "no" and we stop and will not write again.

Google user data

The studio's internal dashboard, used only by Mateus Franzé, can connect to his own Gmail account with Google's permission to send email on his behalf and to read the replies to those emails. It sends only emails he writes and approves, from his own account.

To read replies, it opens only the email conversations that the dashboard itself started, one by one. Its only search looks for unsubscribe requests: messages with "unsubscribe" in the subject, sent in the last 30 days by the people it wrote to, and from those it reads only the sender and the date. It does not list, search or open any other message. From each reply it keeps the date and the first 200 characters of the text Gmail shows as a preview, so it can stop follow-ups when someone declines, asks not to be contacted or the email bounces, and show him who replied. The sorting is done by simple text rules, not by AI. Gmail data is not shared with anyone, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models, and the permission can be revoked at any time in the Google account settings.

Franzé Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who processes the data

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and client records are kept while they are useful to the relationship and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Visit records are kept to understand traffic over time. Ask us and we will delete what we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you by writing to mateusfranze@franzestudio.com. You can also ask us never to contact you again.

Children

This site and our services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.

Changes

When what we collect changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
