Brand identity design for small businesses

Hi, I’m

I am a brand designer. You get the whole system, not just a logo.
Logo suite, colors, type, a written guide and the first templates, in two weeks. You talk to me, and I am the one doing the work, start to finish.
A logo alone does not make a brand. What makes people recognize a business is the same system showing up everywhere it goes: the sign, the cup, the post, the invoice. So the work is designing that system and writing down its rules, so it still looks like you long after the files leave here.
A brand you can use on day one.
The whole system, with the rules written down, so every post, card and sign after this looks like the same business.
Logo suite
The main logo, a compact version and a symbol, in color and in black and white.
Colors
A palette with the exact codes for screen and for print.
Typography
Typefaces for headlines and text, and how they work together.
Brand guide
10 to 20 pages showing how to use all of it, so the next designer or printer gets it right.
Templates
About ten pieces ready to use: social posts, a business card, a presentation cover, whatever your business needs first.
Every file is yours
The source files and the guide, from day one. Nothing stays locked with me.
Two weeks, and you know what arrives when.
You get a calendar on day one. The clock pauses while the ball is on your side, and that is written down too.
The brief
A call and a short questionnaire about your business, your customers and your competitors.
Research and concept
I study your market and present the concept, with the reasoning behind every choice.
Your feedback
The first round of revision. You approve the direction before I build the system on it.
The system
Logo suite, colors, type and the first templates, built on the approved concept.
Guide and handover
The second round of revision, the brand guide and every file delivered.
“What stood out most to me was his dedication to understanding what I needed. He was someone I could count on, and I'd recommend him for new projects.”
“Mateus took the time to understand what mattered to Altiora.”
“Working with Mateus was a true back-and-forth partnership. He brought good ideas, took feedback well, and paid attention to the details in every delivery.”
Hiring someone in another country is scary. Fair enough.

The person who sells is the person who designs
There is no junior team behind me. Whoever you speak to on the first call is the same person who designs your brand. If I cannot take the project, I say so instead of passing it along.
- 02
You do not pay everything up front
Half to start, half on delivery. If something goes wrong halfway, you are not exposed for the full amount.
- 03
Dates in writing, not promises
You get a calendar with what arrives on each day. If I need something back from you, that is written there too.
- 04
Scope and price closed from the start
What is included and what is not is on record before we begin, with a fixed price. No budget surprises halfway through.
What people ask me before saying yes.
How long does it really take?
Two weeks from the brief, with a calendar saying what lands on each day. What stretches that is usually the time it takes to answer the brief and approve the concept, and that is written into the calendar too.
What if I do not like the concept?
You approve the direction before I build the system on it. That is where most disagreements show up, and where they are cheap to fix. After that, the second round of revision covers the details.
I already have a logo. Can you keep it?
Yes. If the logo works, I build the system around it: colors, type, guide and templates. The form below asks about it, and the proposal reflects the answer.
Can you also design my website or landing page?
Yes. The brand comes first and the page is built on it, with the research and the copy written from scratch. Doing both together is faster than two separate projects, and costs less. See landing page design.
Do you speak English? What about the time zone?
I do. I work from Brazil on US hours, so the overlap is your whole business day, not two hours at the end of it.
How does payment work?
Half to start, half on delivery. You get an invoice and pay by transfer into a US dollar account in the United States. On your side, it is an ordinary domestic transfer, with no exchange fee for you. Card also works if you prefer; just tell me first, because the card fee changes the final number.
Who owns the files at the end?
You do. The source files, the guide and every template. If one day you want to continue with someone else, they have everything to work from on day one.
What if something happens to you?
It is a fair question when the studio is one person. Every file is yours from day one, and the guide documents every choice, so your brand never depends on me to keep working.
Four questions and I come back with a proposal.
Takes a minute. The proposal arrives within one business day, with the scope, the dates and a fixed price.
